We have all been told throughout our lives ” breakfast is the most important meal of the day”. We’ll let me tell you I jump out of bed and hit the ground running I have to much to do to prepare product for the long day at the shop. Well, I found a solution. I am jumping on the smoothie train! My wonderful brother bought me a nice personal blender with 2 cups. I have one for the day and a second clean one for the next day.
So let’s back up over the last few years I turned 50 and quit smoking with menopause also in the picture needless to say I packed on 100 pounds! So finally after several comobidities I started trying baby steps not only to keep my doctors happy but also to get myself back.
I went to the grocery store picked up some vanilla protein powder, vanilla lowfat yogurt, strawberries and over ripe bananas, the ones they sell cheap for baking are the best,
I just put all that in the blender and blend if it’s to thick I add a very small amount of water.
